Until now, Orthodox theological studies in the U.S. have been heavily concentrated on the East Coast, but no more. Our programs are based on the West Coast and available everywhere there is Internet access. Delivered in two languages to start (English and Arabic), the Academy programs will offer theological education and depth to students around the country, and around the globe.
DIPLOMA IN ORTHODOX THEOLOGICAL STUDIES
Our Core Program, providing a thorough grounding in Orthodox studies. An ideal program for those wishing to go deeper and learn more about their Orthodox faith, in order to better teach and live the Gospel in the Orthodox Church. This is also an ideal diaconal preparation program for those seeking to serve the Church has deacons.
PREPARATION FOR THE DIACONATE
For those who complete the Diploma program, and have the desire to move on to preparation for diaconal training with an eye towards Church service as an ordained Deacon, an additional 6-12 months of study, training, and mentoring is called for.
PREPARATION FOR THE PRIESTHOOD
For those deacons who desire to serve as priests in the Vicariate, additional training, study, and mentoring is necessary. The preparation for the priesthood is an additional 12-18 months beyond the diaconal preparation, intensely focused, and absolutely critical to the formation necessary to carry the burdens of the priesthood.
